Since the department was founded, students have always been offered a comprehensive program covering a vast range of geoinformatics topics, such as GPS, GIS, RS, RFID applications, 3D graphics, and E-commerce. The educational goal of the department is to equip students to be qualified as geoinformatics designers and engineers. They will not only learn theoretical knowledge but also gain professional skills. In particular, in order to fulfill the national policy in promoting the technical level of industry, students will be trained to be able to develop, design, manufacture, and maintain various types of geoinformatics systems. To achieve these goals, the department provides courses that will train students in practical applications of geoinformatics as well as its technological features.
